연초 추운 겨울, 익숙하고 가깝지만 여러가지를 즐길 수 있는 곳에서 편안한 호캉스를 보내고 싶었어요.
At the beginning of the year, during the cold winter, I wanted to have a comfortable staycation in a familiar and close place where I could enjoy various things.
그래서 편안한 휴식과 맛있는 조식을 즐기고, 백화점 구경도 할 겸 JW 메리어트 호텔 서울에 다녀왔습니다.
So I enjoyed a hotel staycation at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul to relax, have a good breakfast, and do some shopping.
1층 로비의 탁 트인 공간을 지나 엘리베이터를 타고 8층으로 이동해 체크인을 했는데, 8층 라운지가 예뻐요. 특히 커다란 커튼의 우아한 주름이 공간을 한층 더 아름답게 만들어줍니다.
After passing through the spacious lobby on the first floor, I took the elevator up to the 8th floor for check-in. The lounge there was especially impressive—large, flowing curtains added an elegant touch and made the space feel even more beautiful.
아늑한 분위기의 룸은 한옥 사진으로 꾸며진 벽면이 인상적이었고, 시티뷰도 함께 즐길 수 있었어요. 어메니티에는 칫솔이 없으니 미리 준비하면 좋고, 객실에는 캡슐커피가 마련되어 있어서 룸에서 오후 커피 타임도 잘 보낼 수 있었어요.
The cozy interior is enhanced by wall art featuring traditional Korean hanok imagery, which left a strong impression. You can also enjoy a city view from the room. Toothbrushes are not provided, but the room offers capsule coffee.
JW 메리어트 호텔 서울은 신세계백화점, 고속터미널역, 파미에스테이션과 바로 연결되어 있어 식사와 쇼핑 등이 매우 편리해요. 호텔 앞에는 편의점과 스타벅스도 있어 간단한 간식이나 커피 한 잔 하기에도 좋아요.
JW Marriott Hotel Seoul is directly connected to Shinsegae Department Store, Express Bus Terminal Station, and Famille Station, making it extremely convenient in terms of location. There is also a convenience store and a Starbucks right in front of the hotel, which is perfect for picking up necessities or grabbing a quick coffee.
조용한 공간의 느낌이 따스했고 직원분들이 친절했고 조식도 만족스러웠어요. 멀리 여행을 가지 않아도 가까운 곳에서 휴식을 누리며 여행 온 느낌을 누릴 수 있었던 겨울 휴가였습니다.
The quiet atmosphere felt warm and comforting, the staff were kind and welcoming, and I was very satisfied with the breakfast. It was a winter getaway where I could relax and enjoy the feeling of being on a trip, even without traveling far.
